Physician Assistant, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant
Hi, I’m Mindy Opper, a Family Medicine Physician Assistant and Ayurvedic Wellness Educator. Welcome to Prana Family Practice at the Red Willow Healing Center. I have been a primary care/family practice PA for over 25 years. My focus has been in women’s health and primary care of families. I have nurtured a belief in Integrative Medicine for as long as I have been in practice.
I have worked mainly in Missoula, my community. The diverse settings I have worked in, as well as the diverse populations I have worked with, have given me a wide scope of looking at health and wellness and why we get sick. I went to Ayurvedic school to help me bring a wider range of possible approaches to treating people and their health problems.
My goals and intent in being part of the Red Willow Healing Center are to practice quality medicine, preventive and wellness-based. I utilize my allopathic (western medicine) skills as well as looking at other integrative modalities or treatments that may facilitate healing. I bring Ayurvedic options to patients as well. I enjoy collaborating with the other practitioners at the center, as this sharing of the minds often brings new insights and options in treatment for patients.
I am focused on helping people improve their health by encouraging active participation in their care.
I have always believed that by utilizing multiple approaches and resources from complimentary treatment options, we may achieve better health than by one way alone.
I look forward to working with you.
